I researched deeply into herbalist lore to find a natural tick repellent, and eventually found rose geranium. I’ve used this formula on my dogs’ collars, and dabbed it on my myself and my family before gardening or going for walks where there are tall grasses or brush. I have found it to be very effective in both cases, and I am so grateful because I don’t want to use toxic pesticides on my dogs or my family, and at the same time want us all to be outdoors without getting Lyme Disease. Just don’t put more than a drop or two on a dog’s collar, as they are very sensitive to smell and find anything stronger than a few drops unpleasant.

Makes about 2 tablespoons.
